A small team of eight
We’re a small team of eight, including Kirsty and Kayleigh. Between Kirsty, Kayleigh, Rachel and Tammy alone, that’s more than 75 years of care experience.
Kirsty Sellick
Company Director & Lead NurseKirsty qualified as a nurse in 1999 and has over 25 years’ experience across hospitals, residential care and the community, with a particular focus on supporting people to stay independent in their own homes. She holds dementia training, is a qualified trainer in safeguarding, and trains Aurora’s carers in medication awareness, basic life support, moving and handling and first aid. Kirsty lives in Shaftesbury with her three grown-up sons and loves walking in the Dorset countryside, good food and time with friends.
Kayleigh Wade
Director & Lead Healthcare AssistantKayleigh has worked in care for eight years. She holds a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and a degree in anatomy and physiology. She helps clients stay independent at home and is the main point of contact for many families. Professional, passionate and dedicated to every client.
Tammy
Carer
Tammy has 20 years’ experience in care and joined Aurora in 2026. She’s passionate about good-quality care that helps people stay in their own homes, and loves spending time with family and friends.

What we look for is kindness, good communication, professionalism, intuition and a real drive to help. We’ve turned people away who weren’t the right fit.
All our carers are women, and they wear an Aurora uniform t-shirt. All our carers hold their own public liability insurance and business car insurance.
