Companionship and home help in North Dorset and the Sherborne area
Aurora supports families across North Dorset and the Sherborne area. Our carers live locally, which means the shops, cafés, surgeries and back roads are ones they already use.
We visit Sturminster Newton, Shaftesbury, Gillingham and Sherborne. We also visit villages including Iwerne Minster, where clients use the village shop.
Sturminster Newton is our home patch in the Blackmore Vale: cafés, the supermarket, the doctors and the pharmacy, plus the Parkinson’s support group run by Stour Connect. In Shaftesbury, where Kirsty lives, we support families in the town and in villages such as Wardour, with trips in for shopping and coffee. Gillingham includes the local memory café. In Sherborne, carers already take people to the supermarket and the garden centre, including clients who live in Milborne Port.
Visits start from one hour. The first step is a free home visit from Kirsty and Kayleigh, with a written quote before anything is confirmed. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
We also visit villages including Iwerne Minster.
