Companionship and home help in South Somerset
Aurora supports families across South Somerset, including Wincanton, Bruton and Milborne Port, and the village of Evercreech.
We already support families in Bruton and in Milborne Port. Bruton visits include the library, weekly swimming at Evercreech, and supermarket trips to Wincanton or Frome. There is also a local memory café. In Milborne Port, carers go with clients to Milborne Port surgery and into Sherborne for the supermarket and garden centre.
We support people across Wincanton and nearby villages. Carers already bring clients from Bruton into Wincanton for their shopping.
Support is nurse-led, with visits from one hour and a free home visit before any plan is agreed. We cover regular visits, and we are honest when something sits outside what Aurora can offer.
We also visit Evercreech, including the swimming pool used by clients from Bruton.
